Emilie de Ravin  

Emilie de Ravin (pronounced [Ë?É?mÉ?Ë?li: dÉ? Ë?rævɪn]) (born 27 December 1981) is an Australian actress.

Emilie de Ravin will next be seen opposite Robert Pattinson in "Remember Me." She recently appeared in the Michael Mann-directed Public Enemies and will be a featured voice in the animated feature film, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, directed by Zack Snyder. She starred in the independent films The Perfect Game, alongside Clifton Collins, Jr., as well as Ball Don't Lie, opposite Chris "Ludacris" Bridges. She also starred in the remake of the 1977 Wes Craven cult classic, The Hills Have Eyes, which was directed by Alexandre Aja, as well as the independent film Brick.

On television de Ravin recurred on The Handler, opposite Joe Pantoliano. She first garnered the attention of international audiences with her performances on the popular television series Beastmaster: The Legend Continues. Within one month of moving to Los Angeles from her home in South Melbourne, Australia, she landed the series regular role of Tess Harding on Roswell. Soon after she starred in the remake of Stephen King's classic horror film, Carrie.

De Ravin has studied ballet since the age of nine. At the age of 15, she was accepted into the prestigious and highly selective Australian Ballet School and, once there, she performed in several productions of the Australian Ballet Company, as well as Danceworld 301.
