Pro golfer Eric Axley was born on April 22, 1974 in Athens, Tennessee. He attended college at East Tennessee State and turned professional in 1997. He almost gave up golf after a mountain biking accident in the late 1990s, but he went on to have a successful career. Eric has amassed four professional wins to date. His first win on the PGA TOUR was the Valero Texas Open in 2006.

Axley currently divides his time between the NGA Hooters Tour, eGolf Professional Tour, and the PGA TOUR. Eric also won the 2005 Rex Hospital Open on the Web.com Tour.

Eric resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife, Cortney, and their two daughters.
