Eric Roberts is an actor with a career spanning over half a century and an impressive portfolio of over 700 credits. His work spans across various genres, including blockbusters, independent films, television series, and music videos. Roberts has shown his versatility through nominations for the prestigious Golden Globe Award for his roles in "King of the Gypsies" (1978), "Star 80" (1983), and "Runaway Train" (1985). His performance in "Runaway Train" also earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. His range of roles is further evidenced by his appearances in iconic films such as "The Dark Knight" (2008), "The Expendables" (2010), and "Babylon" (2022).
Roberts' television career is highlighted by his performance as the Master in the 1996 "Doctor Who" television film, a recurring role on "Heroes" (2007–2010), "The Young and the Restless" (2010–2011), "Suits" (2014–2019), and a recent role in "The Righteous Gemstones" (2022).
