Eric Sinoway

Expert in Partnership Development & Author

Eric Sinoway is the president and co-founder of Axcess Worldwide, a New York-based partnership development company that creates inspired ideas and connects extraordinary brands and people. As an entrepreneur, Sinoway is involved in a wide range of interesting and challenging projects and companies, including serving as a partner in Double Cross Vodka, a top-shelf spirit produced in Slovakia, and working with Patagonia Sur, an innovative for-profit conservation project in Patagonia, Chile.

Before co-founding Axcess Worldwide, Sinoway was a senior development officer at Harvard University, where he was a catalyst for obtaining a series of large and complex philanthropic gifts from individuals, governments, and organizations worldwide. These accomplishments at Harvard built on experience with other highly visible nonprofit organizations. He played a leading role in the strategic development of After-School All-Stars - the program founded by former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to provide after-school programs in 12 US cities - and in 1998, he received the Arnold Schwarzenegger Community Leadership Award for his work on behalf of inner-city children. Later, while collaborating with entrepreneur and philanthropist Todd Wagner - who co-founded Broadcast.com with Mark Cuban - Sinoway helped conceive and lead the national after-school technology initiative MIRACLES.

Sinoway is the author of Howard's Gift: Uncommon Wisdom to Inspire Your Life's Work, which was inspired by iconic Harvard Business School professor Howard Stevenson's near death. Stevenson had become a mentor and close friend to Sinoway who produced the book in order to share Stevenson's wisdom with the world.

Sharing the framework he developed for Howard's Gift in his presentations, Sinoway leads audiences through a process called "Business Planning for Your Life's Work," which entails "thought tools" that provide listeners with new ways to think about their lives and careers and actionable ideas to unlock their full personal and professional potential.

Eric Sinoway earned his undergraduate degree at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and received a master's degree at the Harvard Kennedy School.
