Erik manages the day to day operations of the Sprint Accelerator, an entrepreneurial center located in the Crossroads Arts District near downtown Kansas City. The building is home to an open community space, co-working and the Mobile Health Accelerator powered by Techstars, blending the resources of Sprint with resourceful entrepreneurs. During his career Erik has honed his expertise in sales, product development and marketing at the Sprint corporate headquarters in Kansas City. Erik is an intrapreneur who constantly challenges everyone around him to work differently. He gained notoriety within Sprint after launching “Thank You Thursdays,” a grass-roots effort where employees handwrite thank you notes to Sprint’s most valuable customers; the program has touched over 1 million households to-date.
