Fox Sports Correspondent & Former Co-Host of "Dancing with the Stars"

Erin Andrews has become one of the most recognizable and respected female sports broadcasters in the business. She currently reports for FOX Sports, serves as sideline reporter for their coverage of the National Football League and Major League Baseball, and contributes to other major sporting events on FOX Sports such as the MLB All-Star Game, the World Series, the NFL Playoffs, and the Daytona 500.

In March 2014, she joined Tom Bergeron as co-host of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Previously, she had been a contestant on the hit competition series where she was paired with Maksim Chmerkovkiy and came in third place.

Prior to her move to FOX, Andrews spent eight years at ESPN where she hosted the first hour of ESPN’s College GameDay on ESPNU and was a features reporter for the full three-hour program. She also served as a sideline reporter for college football and basketball games. To add to her resume, Andrews was the first female featured as a sideline reporter on EA Sports NCAA Football video game and hosted their mode “Road to Glory.”

She has served as a guest host of ABC’s Live With Kelly and Michael on several occasions. Andrews has also been a guest correspondent for Good Morning America and is a frequent guest on numerous talk shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Andrews knew she wanted to be a sportscaster at age 13 and began her career with FOX Sports Florida South as a freelance reporter and Tampa Bay Lightning reporter for the Sunshine Network. In May 2004, she joined ESPN as a reporter for the network’s National Hockey League. She quickly become a fan favorite and began covering college football, basketball, baseball and Major League Baseball.

Daughter of Emmy Award winning journalist, Steve Andrews, she would spend hours in front of the television, with her dad, cheering on their favorite teams. In 2009 Andrews’ father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Together, Steve and Erin gave their support to ‘On the Line’, a campaign that urges men to get check-ups for prostate cancer. The campaign also featured coaches Bob Knight and Digger Phelps.

Andrews was diagnosed with cervical cancer herself in 2016. She has become an advocate for early screening and treatment. Andrews had surgery a few weeks after her diagnosis and was back on the sidelines just days later, thanks to the early detection.
