Erin Moran

Chief Culture Officer at Union Square Hospitality Group

As USHG’s first-ever Chief Culture Officer, Erin Moran is responsible for strengthening and growing USHG’s culture of Enlightened Hospitality, and overseeing all aspects of the employee experience at USHG.

Prior to joining USHG in October 2013, Erin spent nearly a decade at Great Place to Work (United States), a firm that studies and identifies great workplaces and offers human resources consulting services globally. While at GPTW, Erin fulfilled many roles, beginning as a Consultant in 2004 and ultimately serving as Executive Vice President of US Business. In this role, Erin studied the workplace culture of organizations included on the 100 Best Companies to Work For list, as published in FORTUNE magazine, and worked directly with clients to create and sustain their own great workplaces by increasing organizational trust. Erin also led GPTW’s US Executive Team and was responsible for the firm’s own organizational health and financial results.

USHG was introduced to Erin while engaging GPTW in a year-long collaboration, during which Erin led USHG through a thorough, survey-based assessment of organizational health, workplace culture, and employee experience. Driven by her admiration of USHG’s leaders and her passion for Enlightened Hospitality, Erin decided to deepen her commitment to USHG’s cultural growth and evolution by becoming a member of the USHG leadership team.

A Baltimore native, Erin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University and an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of International Management.
