Because of her insight on effective communication—from the boardroom to the bedroom—master trainer Esther Perel is recognized as one of the world's most original and insightful voices on personal and professional relationships and the complex science behind human interaction. Fluent in nine languages, the Belgian native is a celebrated speaker with expertise in relational health and communication, emotional literacy, work-life balance, cross-cultural relations, conflict resolution, sexuality, and identity of the modern family.

Esther's innovative model for building strong and lasting relationships has garnered her an international clientele, ranging from thousands of employees at major corporations to single-client sessions. Esther expertly explains the link between personal and professional lives, shedding a bright light on the complexities of relationships—the area of life she calls "the driving force behind it all." In addition to Esther's therapy practice in New York City, she also serves on the faculties of The Family Studies Unit, Department of Psychiatry, New York University Medical Center and of The International Trauma Studies Program. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an AASECT certified sex therapist, a member of the American Family Therapy Academy and of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research.

A regular media commentator, Esther has been widely featured in the international press and has multilingual publications across four continents.
