Indigenous Blackfoot Actor & Stuntman

Eugene Brave Rock is a Blackfoot actor and stuntman born in Canada. Brave Rock is from the Blood Tribe of Siksikasiitapiisahkoi, or Blackfoot Country. Brave Rock started as an actor, before being trained as a stuntman; he later appeared in various minor television roles before landing his first major film role as Chief in Wonder Woman.

Brave Rock has gained popularity for his hard-hitting roles in AMC's Dark Winds and in Wonder Woman as "The Chief," the blockbuster movie in which he brought onto the big screen his culture and language. A member of the Blood Tribe of Siksikaissksahkoi, or Blackfoot Country, Brave Rock was raised by his grandmother Florence on the Blood Reserve in southern Alberta, Canada, admiring Native American actors on TV. Today Eugene is passionately dedicated to preserving and promoting the Blackfoot language, which he considers vital to his identity and the future generations.
