Evan Spiegel is the co-founder, president and CEO of Snap Inc. (formerly SnapChat Inc.), the social media messaging company, which he first proposed as a class project while studying product design at Stanford University. With reportedly 150 million people using the photo- and video-sharing app each day, Spiegel, at the age of 25, became the world's youngest billionaire in 2015.

Spiegel enrolled at Stanford after taking design classes at the Otis College of Art and Design and the Art Centre College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Before starting SnapChat, he and co-founder Bobby Murphy collaborated to create Future Freshman, a site that revolutionized the way high school seniors applied to college. Spiegel dropped out to focus on Snapchat full-time, but returned to receive his Bachelors of Science degree six years later.

Spiegel and co-founder Murphy were named to TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the world list in 2014. He has also appeared on both Forbes Billionaires and Forbes 400 lists as well as The Business of Fashion's BoF 500.

Speigel serves on the board of directors of KKR & Co.
