Everette Taylor has been a leader in the world of entrepreneurship, technology and marketing for over a decade, building several multi-million dollar brands.

He currently serves as CMO of Artsy, the world’s largest online marketplace for discovering, buying, and selling art.

After being homeless and dropping out of college, Everette started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 19 with his first company EZ Events which he successfully sold 2 years later.

He then founded ET Enterprises in 2013, which includes a diverse portfolio of successful brands such as social media software company PopSocial, marketing firm MilliSense, and GrowthHackers which boasts a community of more than 2 million users.

As a marketing executive, he helped lead both Qualaroo (acquired by Xenon Ventures) and Skurt (acquired by Fair) to successful acquisitions, served as the Head of Growth of new mobile apps for Microsoft China, and led e-commerce company Sticker Mule to unprecedented growth as their youngest CMO ever at 25.

Through his influence and visibility, Taylor aims to increase the numbers of women and minorities in the technology and art industry. He also provides scholarships to the youth through his non-profit Southside Fund and grants to visual artists through his company ArtX.

In 2019, Everette received an honorary doctorate degree from Shaw University upon recognition of his “meritorious contributions to human society and welfare for humanity.”

He has been called a "marketing genius" by Forbes, a "marketing star" by Fortune Magazine, "an innovator who's changing the consumer marketing game" by Black Enterprise, and “a millennial entrepreneur who built a marketing and tech empire” by Business Insider.

Most recently he was named one of the "100 Most Influential African-Americans" by The Root and Forbes 30 Under 30.
