F. Scott Moody

Co-Founder of K4Connect; Technology Entrepreneur

F. Scott Moody is the co-founder and former CEO of K4Connect, a mission-centered technology company creating solutions that serve and empower older adults and individuals living with disabilities. Moody previously was the co-founder and CEO of AuthenTec, the only public company ever acquired by Apple and its technologies led to the introduction of the Touch ID. Although Scott had retired, it was on a trip to Rwanda that he was inspired to start another company, but only when he met someone that had MS that he realized that the technologies they were developing could make a real difference in the lives of those the company now serves.

Following a successful 44 year career bringing forward advanced technologies across multiple markets across the globe including the founding of two successful startups (highlights include $100M in venture funding raised, 250 patents issued, a successful IPO & acquisition by Apple), Scott decided to "retire" (for a second time) in May 2024, while continuing to serve others both directly and thru First Talent Ventures, LLC (FTV). Oriented towards supporting economically disadvantaged older adults to actively participate in extending their own "health spans" and quality of life, FTV provides advisory, board, fund raising and angel investment services, and often just simple encouragement, to technology and service startups, early stage companies & organizations.
