Fabio Tambosi is a people-centric leader, experienced in building autonomous, high-performing teams. A storyteller at heart, he is passionate about designing inspirational and impactful strategies using sports, technology, and education as catalysts to create positive change in people’s lives.
As Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at ESL FACEIT Group, he spearheads efforts to propel EFG forward as the prominent brand in esports events, festivals, leagues and tournaments, and online competitive gaming platforms. He oversees EFG’s ticket sales, viewership, merchandising, and advertising and the full stack of marketing, which encompasses strategic planning, operations, public relations, corporate communications, brand creative, design studio, fan engagement, and consumer marketing.
Previously, as Senior Vice President Global Marketing at OneFootball, Tambosi was responsible for spearheading all marketing and digital initiatives to build a Web3 football ecosystem for soccer fans worldwide to live their passions through digital collectibles and innovative experiences fueled by blockchain technology. Before working with OneFootball, Tambosi had over two decades of international experience, most recently as Saucony's Chief Marketing Officer, and held leadership positions at Nike and Adidas. In the earlier stages of his career, he worked in product marketing at Nokia and business development at IBM.
Tambosi, born in São Paulo, Brazil, moved to the United States to further his academic and athletic career as a student-athlete on the men's soccer team at Clemson University. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and he serves as an Executive Board Member and MBA Professor for the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at The Erwin Center For Brand Communications at Clemson. He and his wife Slavka Jancikova host a podcast "The Marketing Marriage," full of personal and honest stories about creativity, commerce, and common sense with some of the industry's most creative minds.
