Chinese-American Pop Singer, Musical Theatre Artist & Actor

Fei Xiang, a Chinese American pop icon, has made notable strides in Mandapop and English language music theater. During the 1980s, he became one of the most popular music stars in China. His achievements include winning the Best New Artist of the year award and releasing several successful albums with hit singles in Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Notably, Xiang became the first pop singer from Taiwan to perform in Mainland China, and his album "A Voice on the Ocean" sold over 20 million copies in this region.

In addition to his pop music career, Xiang has also had a successful stint in musical theatre. His Broadway credentials include performances in acclaimed shows such as "Miss Saigon" and "Nick and Nora". Xiang also took on the role of Emcee in the musical "Cabaret" in Singapore. Continuing his passion for musical theatre, Xiang released "The Broadway Album" where he performed Broadway standards in English and Mandarin Chinese, further promoting musical theatre in China.

Xiang has also ventured into film and television, making his mark as a versatile performer. He made a surprise guest appearance as the chief villain Tian Lang Sorcerer in the Chinese fantasy film "Painted Skin: The Resurrection" and co-starred with Gong Li in "The Monkey King 2", a major hit at the Chinese box office. Soon, Xiang will be seen as King Zhou of Shang in the upcoming epic fantasy film series "Fengshen Trilogy". Beyond his performing career, Xiang is known for his contribution to events of global significance, including releasing a theme song for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and performing in Olympics-related concerts in Los Angeles and London.
