Felipe Gomez del Campo is the founder and CEO of FGC Plasma Solutions, a Cleveland-based company developing a novel fuel injector for jet engines and gas turbines. This technology, which originated from his high school science fair project, utilizes plasma to solve complex combustion issues, enhancing emissions, operability, safety, and fuel efficiency. Over five years, he has secured a patent, raised over $135,000 in funding, and collaborated with NASA to advance and market the technology. Recognized on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2016 in the Energy category, Gomez del Campo was also honored by President Barack Obama as an emerging global entrepreneur and won best paper at the 2014 Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Conference. His work has earned him accolades such as being listed in Crain’s Cleveland Business "Who’s Who to Watch in Technology" and being named one of Mexico’s six extraordinary young people by GQ Mexico.
