Rock and Hip-Hop Musical Band; Known for their Hit "Handlebars"

The Flobots are a rock and hip hop musical group from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2000 by MC Jonny 5 (Jamie Laurie). Jonny 5 was soon joined by another lead MC, Brer Rabbit (Stephen Brackett), bassist Jesse Walker, drummer Kenny Ortiz, violist Mackenzie Gault, guitarist Andy Guerrero and trumpet player Joe Ferrone.

In 2005, the band released their first EP, Flobots Present...Platypus. It included the song “Handlebars” which was later re-recorded and re-released on their 2007 debut LP, Fight with Tools. The album version reached #3 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and the album reached #15 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

A live EP, Live at the House of Blues – Anaheim, CA, was released in 2009. Their second full-length, Survival Story, was issued in 2010. Produced by Mario Caldato, Jr., the album peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200. The Circle in the Square, their third album, was released in 2012.
