Fran Harris, a trailblazing former Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) player, made her mark in the world of professional basketball with a career defined by excellence. Her journey began at The University of Texas, where she captained the team that won the 1986 national championship and led the Longhorns to the first-ever NCAA undefeated season (34–0).
Post-college, Harris took her talents to the international stage, playing professional basketball in Italy and Switzerland. Her competitive spirit and dedication to the game caught the attention of the newly formed WNBA, where she became a valuable member of the Houston Comets, contributing significantly to the team's success as they clinched the inaugural WNBA Championship.
