Francesco Giuliani is a managing director of First Reserve, a global private equity firm focused exclusively on energy. His responsibilities include investment origination, structuring, execution, monitoring and exit strategy with particular emphasis on the power and equipment, manufacturing and services sectors. Prior to joining First Reserve in 2006, Giuliani was a senior executive with General Electric. Most recently, he led the GE Oil & Gas equipment business at Nuovo Pignone, a $2.5 billion operation in Florence, Italy. Prior to that, he was head of the Honeywell integration effort for GE Energy and spent several years in corporate development at various GE businesses and at Finmeccanica in Rome.
