Francis Omaswa
Executive director of the African Centre for Global Health and Social Transformation
is the executive director of the African Centre for Global Health and Social Transformation, an initiative incorporated in Uganda and promoted by African and International leaders in health. It is an independent think tank and network to strengthen Africa’s implementation capacity and role in global health. Previously, he was founding executive director of the Global Health Workforce Alliance and the director general for health services in the Ministry of Health in Uganda. He has a keen interest in increasing access of the poor to quality health care and spent five years in a remote location testing various innovations in health care.
