Meet Frank Blackman Jr., a 19-year old, professional mental health speaker who has dedicated his life to improving the lives of others. With over 3 years of experience in youth mental health training & advocacy, Blackman Jr. has quickly become a trusted leader in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, and more.

As a speaker, Blackman Jr. is known for his ability to engage audiences with his warm and empathetic approach. He combines personal stories, research-based insights, and practical tools to help people better understand mental health and build resilience. His talks are interactive, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of each audience.

In addition to his work as a speaker, Blackman Jr. currently attends Loyola University Chicago majoring in Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience. He is the youth advisory council leader for The Children’s Center subsidiary program Crisis to Connection. He is also the co-founder of non-profit Mindful Peer which aims to educate kids on gun safety, mental health, and life skills. Blackman Jr. has spoken at events, conferences, panels, and has been featured in multiple media outlets such as Detroit Public Television, WWJ News, and WXYZ Detroit.

Blackman Jr. is committed to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health especially in schools and promoting greater understanding and compassion. He believes that everyone has the capacity to overcome mental health challenges and lead fulfilling lives, and his work reflects this belief.
