Freddie Ransome is a Video Producer at BuzzFeed Motion Pictures. She helped start and develop the “Ladylike” series which has garnered hundreds of thousands of followers on YouTube and on social media. Ladylike is a cast of five women who test out style trends, beauty trends, explore male dominated spaces, and generally challenge what it means to be Ladylike in 2017. Freddie has produced and directed a number of viral unscripted videos including “Women Go Bald for a Day” “Women Try on Their Old Prom Dresses” and “Women Train Firefighters.” She’s committed to representing as many different types of women and girls on screen as possible and prides herself on being a part of a team comprised of only women, that creates every piece of content from start to finish. Before BuzzFeed, Freddie graduated from Howard University with a degree in TV production, went on to become an NBC page at 30 Rockefeller Center, and finished her tenure in New York City as a production assistant for MSNBC dayside programming.
