Their team holds the top sales position at the esteemed real estate firm Douglas Elliman, where Eklund is frequently responsible for breaking sales records. Committed to redefining the role of a real estate broker in today's market, Eklund often works on a building for years before it hits the market. His responsibilities include vetting locations, interviewing architects, and working with designers to customize each space to appeal to target buyers. Having shaped the New York skyline with luxury high-rises, he has extended his ventures to launch similar towers in Miami and Los Angeles. In addition to these accomplishments, Eklund has recently launched Proptech App REAL - a social app for real estate, further solidifying his status as a real estate powerhouse.

Born and raised outside of Stockholm, Sweden, Eklund was captivated by the vertical landscape of towering buildings during his first visit to New York City at the age of 10. He promised to return one day and make his mark, a promise which he has evidently kept. After studying at the Stockholm School of Economics, co-founding an Internet company, and working for the investment bank SEB in Stockholm, London, Singapore and Tokyo, Eklund returned to Manhattan at the age of 25. Armed with determination and ambition, he entered the real estate industry and made a splash by selling $50 million worth of property in his first year.

Over the last decade, Eklund and his team have secured over $15 billion in closed sales, consistently setting records in the industry. Their client list includes major celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Gigi Hadid, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Daniel Craig, Alec Baldwin, and Jennifer Lopez. Despite his high-profile career and remarkable success, Eklund ensures to maintain a balanced and light-hearted approach to life.

Aside from his professional achievements, Eklund lives a fulfilling personal life. He is married to abstract painter Derek Kaplan, and they are parents to twins, Milla and Freddy. Currently splitting his time between Los Angeles and New York City, Eklund enjoys cooking, photography, and spending quality time with his family and puppies when he's not immersed in his work.
