YouTube Personalities; Comedians; & Hosts of FYI's "What The Fung?!"

The Fung Brothers are a Chinese-American duo of comedians and rappers, Andrew and David Fung. The brothers are known for their YouTube presence, with notable titles being "The Jeremy Lin Effect," "Bobalife," and "Asians Eat Weird Things." Their content ranges from Asian stereotypes and Asian masculinity to men's fashion and hip-hop music videos. They had a stint on A&E Network's FYI channel with their TV show "Broke Bites: What the Fung?!" In their show, the brothers searched the U.S. for the best local spots to eat, with a budget of only fifty dollars. They are also part of the rap group "Model Minority" alongside Grandmaster Jason Chu.

The Fung Brothers gained media attention for their videos about Taiwanese-American NBA player Jeremy Lin, which were made during the height of "Linsanity," a phrase they coined. Their videos were covered by CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The Washing Post, etc., where the brothers both wrote and starred in them. The Fung Brothers have interviewed NFL Ram's Taylor Rapp in a conversation where they discussed his Asian ancestry and the struggle of being overlooked in his field. David Fung has interviewed other Asian celebrities through the popular Korean website, Soompi.com.

David Fung co-starred alongside Ronny Chieng in a Netflix prdocued web episode titled "Ronny Chieng Takes Chinatown," which featured Jeremy Lin and Simu Liu and performed incredibly well on the Netflix Is A Joke YouTube channel. The brothers are now hosting their own mixed media shows in New York City called Fung Bros Present: Asianology, an Asian culture based comedy show with uncensored, witty jokes tackling a variety of Asian and Asian-American related topics.
