Gabrielle Thomas is an American track-and-field athlete. She is the third-fastest woman of all time in the 200 metres with her result of 21.61 seconds, which was set at the 2020 US Olympic trials. She won the bronze medal at the 200 metres event of the 2020 Summer Olympics. On August 25, 2023, she claimed the 200m silver medal in the 2023 World Athletics Championships with a time of 21.81 seconds. She would also go on to win gold as part of Team USA in the women's 4x100m relay final with a championship record of 41.03 seconds.

Thomas got her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and Global Health & Health Policy at Harvard University, graduating in 2019.

She now lives in Austin, Texas and is earning her Master's degree in Public Health from UT to pursue a career in epidemiology following her track career.
