Former Navy SEAL & Aircraft Carrier Pilot; Co-Founder of Equality Asset Management

Gabriel Gomez co-founded Equality Asset Management, a private equity firm, in 2018. Gomez has an extraordinary leadership background, having been both a successful entrepreneur and a long-time private equity investor, a Platoon Commander at SEAL team FOUR, and an Aircraft Carrier Pilot in the US Navy.

Prior to Equality, Gomez co-founded and led O2X Human Performance, an education and training company focused on Tactical Athletes. Prior to founding O2X, Gomez ran for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by John Kerry. After winning the Republican Primary nomination in the special election, he lost the general election. Prior to the U.S. Senate run, he spent thirteen years as a private equity investor, as a Principal at Advent International, a global private equity firm with $41B assets under management, and at Summit Partners, a $15B global growth equity firm.

Gomez began his finance career in investment banking for Bowles Hollowell Connor. Prior to a career in finance and as an entrepreneur, Gomez was a United States Naval Aviator, and later a Platoon Commander at SEAL Team FOUR, and was class leader of his SEAL training class. Gomez is one of only two that have served as both an US Navy Aircraft Carrier Pilot and then a Navy SEAL.

Gomez earned his MBA from Harvard Business school and graduated with merit with a Systems Engineering degree from the United States Naval Academy where he was also on the varsity tennis team. Gomez resides in Cohasset, Massachusetts with his wife, Sarah, and their four children.
