Gabriella Wortmann is a Senior Manager in Global Sourcing and Business Operations at New Balance Athletic Shoes. She is responsible for sourcing footwear from Asia and Latin America. In this capacity, she oversees sourcing and manufacturing operations and all tasks related to source identification, supplier selection, contract negotiations and daily supplier management.

Ms. Wortmann spends a considerable time on location with suppliers and was previously based in Guangzhou, China.

Prior to New Balance, she worked for Luen Thai International, a major supplier to Ralph Lauren. Ms. Wortmann also was a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting focusing on consumer business clients.

She graduated from Wharton with a dual degree in operations management and international economics. She received her undergraduate degree from Nanjing University in Chinese language and literature. She lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with her husband and daughter.
