Garett Jones is BB&T Professor for the Study of Capitalism at the Mercatus Center and associate professor of economics at George Mason University. His research interests include human capital and the foundations of economic growth. His work has appeared in the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Journal of Economic Growth, and he regularly appears in the major print media.
