Garth Graham    

Director & Global Head of Healthcare and Public Health at Google/YouTube

Garth Graham currently serves as the Director and Global Head of Healthcare and Public Health at Google. Prior to this role, he held several significant positions, including the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Minority Health, Assistant Dean for Health Policy, and Chief of Health Services Research at the University of Florida School of Medicine. He also held the position of President at the Aetna Foundation and was elected as the Vice President & Chief Community Health Officer at CVS Health. Presently, he is an active board member of several organizations, such as the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute Advisory Council, the National Academy of Medicine Board on Population Health, and the National Quality Forum.

Graham is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine. His educational background includes an MD from the Yale University School of Medicine and an MPH from the Yale School of Public Health. He specialized in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and completed a Cardiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins. He holds board certifications in internal medicine and cardiology. The Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine inaugurated the Garth N. Graham Distinguished Lectureship Award in 2021, recognizing leaders who significantly contribute to the advancement of health equity.
