He managed the design, installation, and testing of the most complex communications systems for the US Government throughout the Pacific Rim countries, from Adak, Alaska to Antarctica. He also managed the reliability and vulnerability test and evaluation of the Polaris, Poseidon and Trident warhead for nuclear submarines. But for Gary, that got to be just more of the same so he decided to start his own business.

Without any knowledge of the publishing business, he decided to do start a trade book publishing company where he was publisher and CEO for over 5 years. He then sold his half of the company to his partner to move on to a new adventure.

Wanting to share his knowledge to a larger audience, Gary then became a full-time professional speaker. His presentations help people to overcome adversity, improve their performance, and productivity through both good times and tough times.
