Geoff McGrath is managing director at McLaren Applied Technologies, which takes an innovative and dynamic approach to conceptual design, development and engineering. His focus is on developing and applying MAT's specialist capabilities to a diverse range of industries, including elite sports, health, and energy production and conservation. McGrath trained as a mechanical engineer and initially worked in aeronautical, civil, chemical, petroleum and mechanical engineering. He gained broad experience in all aspects of the field, including conceptual engineering and business development for both startup and blue-chip firms, and switched his focus to telecommunications, media and entertainment.
