Geoff Tudor serves as global cloud strategist within HP’s Enterprise Group, responsible for driving cloud technologies and services across all of HP’s product portfolio. Geoff has over 18 years of experience in the storage, broadband and networking industries. As co-founder and SVP at Nirvanix, a global provider of enterprise cloud storage, Geoff developed both the product and business strategy that gained notable cloud customers including NBC Universal, General Electric and NASA. Prior to Nirvanix Geoff was founding CEO of Advent Networks, a provider of business-class broadband access platforms for the cable industry with customers in the US, Europe and Japan. Geoff previously co-founded Tellaire Corp. to commercialize free space optic technologies and deliver wireless Gigabit Ethernet. MRV Communications (NASDAQ:MRVC) acquired the company's networks. Mr. Tudor also co-founded GNS Technologies, where he co-wrote Reflex Backup, the first continuous data protection software for Windows. Reflex was acquired by Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC). In addition to his technical experience Geoff was also formerly Legislative Director in Washington D.C. to Congressman Lamar Smith (R-TX), who is currently Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. Geoff was recognized by Discover Magazine as one of the nation's leading innovators in technology and was a nominee for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Geoff holds an M.B.A. from the University of Texas and a bachelor's degree from Tulane University.
