Geoffrey Zakarian is one of the leading figures in the culinary world, with three nationally acclaimed restaurants, an award-winning cookbook, and recurring roles on shows such as "Chopped," "24 Hour Restaurant Battle," "The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs" and "The Best Thing I Ever Ate," among others.

Zakarian's rise to national prominence began in the early 80's at Le Cirque, where he developed his technical foundation under the French master chef Alain Sailhac. His first turn as Executive Chef was at the legendary 21 Club, followed by a startling run of success where he helmed kitchens at 44 at the Royalton, the Delano in Miami, and Patroon. In 2001, Geoffrey opened his first restaurant, Town, to rave reviews, followed by Country in 2005. Both were awarded Three Stars by The New York Times, making Geoffrey the only New York chef to earn 3 Three Star reviews in a row. In 2006, he published his debut book, Town/Country, which was awarded "Editor's Choice" by the New York Times, which described it as "...one of the best of the year."

Today, Zakarian's restaurants include The Lambs Club and The National in New York, and Tudor House in Miami. He also oversees the dining program at The Water Club in Atlantic City. As a television personality and culinary expert, he also appears regularly on morning shows such as The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The CBS Morning Show, and is a judge on "Chopped," one of Food Network's highest-rated shows. He has a starring role on "The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs," where he competes head-to-head against eight of the nation's top chefs.
