George Bischof maintains his place on the Midas List thanks to the rising valuation of business-collaboration service Box. Bischof joined Meritech Capital Ventures in 2008 after spending eight years at Focus Ventures. It was at Focus where he led the firm's late-stage investments in EqualLogic (acquired by Dell for $1.4 billion in 2007), Quinstreet (IPO 2010) and Isilon Systems (acquired by EMC for $2.25 billion in 2010). Bischof has brought that experience over to Meritech where he has led the firm's investments in cybersecurity outfit BigFix (bought by IBM in 2010), Box, and Fusion-io (IPO 2011).
