George Gilbert is an Analyst for Gigaom Research and Principal of TechAlpha Partners, a management consulting and research firm. The firm advises enterprise customers how to leverage data-based services to remake how they create and capture value. It also advises vendors how to match the sweet spot of their products’ usage scenarios with the range of enterprise customers’ needs. He has been profiled on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and published as a guest author in a major overview of cloud computing in The Economist. Previously, George was lead enterprise software analyst for Credit Suisse, one of the leading investment banks to the technology sector. Prior to being an analyst, George spent 7 years in product management and marketing at Lotus Development.
