George Jones co-founded Caravan Entertainment in 2009 to focus primarily on television development, artist management, and global branding and licensing. From 2006 to 2009, Jones was President and CEO of Borders Group, Inc. a Fortune 500 company with over 1100 stores in 13 countries and annual sales over $3 billion.

Previously he was President and CEO of Saks Department Store Group, as well as President of Worldwide Licensing and Retail for Warner Brothers (1994-2001). Jones is the current Chairman of the GRAMMY Foundation.
