Business Speaker and Chairman of BOK Financial Corporation, George Kaiser is among the top 100 richest people in the world and one of the top 50 American philanthropists. George graduated from Harvard Business School and then returned to work for his father at Kaiser-Francis Oil Co. which was created by his uncle and parents. In 1969, George Kaiser took over of Kaiser-Francis Oil Company. In 1990, George bought the Bank of Oklahoma, from the FDIC which made George on the list of Forbes 400 wealthiest Americans.

His philanthropy includes fighting childhood poverty through the George Kaiser Family Foundation, the Jewish community in Oklahoma, and early childhood education. The Kaiser Family Foundation is the largest contributor to the Tulsa Community Foundation, which was established in 1998. His family’s foundation funded the National Energy Policy Institute, a energy organization at the University of Tulsa.
