Matus started early on Teal Drones, launching the company in 2014 when he was only a sophomore in high school. His company, Teal, now has 30 employees and has raised more than $20 million in venture funding. Teal’s drones are among the fastest in the market, going up to 70 miles per hour, but Matus’ belief is that drones can be much more than flying cameras and should be accessible to everyone.

Matus has been on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Consumer Technology and is also a Thiel Fellow.
