Former Chancellor of the Exchequer, UK; Chair of the British Museum & the Northern Powerhouse Partnership

George Osborne is Chair of the British Museum. He's also a partner at Robey Warshaw LLP, a boutique investment bank. Prior to this, he was the Editor-in-Chief of London's Evening Standard newspaper and was the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2010–2016 and First Secretary of State from 2015–2016.

Osborne is also Chair of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership, a not-for-profit organisation he established with business and civic leaders to promote economic development in the North of England. He is a visiting professor at Stanford University. He was an adviser to the BlackRock Investment Institute from 2017–2021 and is the Chair of the EXOR Partners Council. The Right Honourable George Osborne CH received the Companion of Honour from Her Majesty the Queen in 2016.
