George R. Blow managed to retire from a large communications corporation at the age of 46 - during the worst possible time in the economy: the fall of 2008. Since then he has lived in "The Paris of South America" Buenos Aires, AR, created a blog and website, written a novel, adapted it into a screenplay, as well as authoring two self-help books and speaking at a major university (addressing audiences in both film and business colleges). Having lived in Europe for about 5 years as a younger man, he is now fluent in both French and Spanish. An award-winning actor and producer/director he is now using his communication skills to promote the importance and practicality of what he calls, "an experience of unconditional joy, peace and contentment".

In his public lectures and in his book Peace is Practical (How the Inner Journey Can Transform the Outer), Blow uses a relaxed, entertaining style to reveal all the practical benefits of an experience of peace and demonstrates how anyone can mine the wealth of joy and fulfillment buried inside their core. Loaded with timely common sense and timeless wisdom, his topics include:

Although very successful in the world of television production, Mr. Blow was awakened to the brevity and uncertainty of his existence by the events during and after Hurricane Katrina. By making contentment his number one priority, his life unexpectedly transformed into an ongoing adventure. The heart of his message is remarkably simple, intuitive and practical: "Your core desire is a feeling, not an idea or a formula, and all it requires to fulfill itself is your patient and determined attention. The more you focus on it, the stronger and sweeter it gets. In short, every human's innate desire to feel good inside as well as out feels good in itself. The practical effects of an awareness of this fundamental need in your life are so powerful as to be transformative, regardless of your circumstances.\" GRB

Mr. Blow was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and attended the prestigious acting institute at Catholic University there before moving to New Orleans to study at Tulane University.
