George H. Wu    

United States Federal Judge, Former Associate Professor at Harvard Business School

George H. Wu (born 1950) is a United States federal judge, and presently is a sitting trial judge in the federal Central District of California court in Los Angeles, California.

Presently, Wu is a federal District Court judge on the United States District Court for the Central District of California, sitting in Los Angeles. Wu was nominated to the Federal Bench by President George W. Bush on January 9, 2007, to a seat vacated by Ronald S.W. Lew. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 27, 2007, and received his commission on April 17, 2007.

Prior to joining the Chicago Booth faculty in 1997, Wu was on the faculty of Harvard Business School as an assistant and associate professor in the managerial economics area and then in the negotiation and decision making group. He also has worked as a lecturer at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to graduate school, Wu worked as a decision analyst at Procter & Gamble.
