Gerald (Jerry) C. Kane is a co-author of "The Technology Fallacy," an April 2019 book that argues that the solution to technological disruptions to organizations lies in people and processes rather than in technology itself.

Kane is a professor at Boston COllege's Carroll School of Management, and his research interests include how organizations cultivate strategy, talent and culture in response to changes brought on my digital technology.

Kane has consulted with Fortune 500 companies and taught executive education pertaining to managing and competing in digital environments.
