GERIANNE SARTE is a scientist by training, a finance Leader by trade and a passionate advocate for women’s development in the workplace. Sarte has made it her life’s work to help women develop and advance because she’s seen firsthand talented individuals drop out of the workforce, thinking they could not balance a career with life’s demands. She believes women shouldn’t have to choose, and by working together with her mentors, she’s been able to achieve both. Her message to those she mentors is clear – don’t be afraid to ask for what you need. Sarte joined Johnson & Johnson 14 years ago and has since progressed through the organization at a rapid rate, being promoted multiple times across all three J&J sectors. She is currently the franchise finance leader supporting the cardiovascular and specialty solutions (CSS) group of companies in Irvine, CA. She is a member of the CSS global management board and a leader within the Women’s Leadership Initiative for Johnson & Johnson.
