Founder of TOM

Gideon Grinstein is founder of the Reut Institute, an Israeli nongovernmental research, strategy, and leadership group. Under his leadership, Reut led efforts focused on inclusive growth and resilience within the ISRAEL 15 Vision, designed a model for transformations of cities, founded TOM to drive technological innovation to address neglected societal problems and XLN to prepare Israel for the 3D-printing and self-manufacturing DIY revolution; and worked on various national security challenges. Grinstein is formerly the secretary of the Israeli delegation for the 2000 Camp David Peace Summit. He is the author of Flexigidity: Secret of Jewish Adaptability and led the design of Taglit Birthright.

Arnon Zamir and Josh Gottesman launched as part of a ROI Schusterman Connection Points Program in the summer of 2014, giving birth to a global movement of Makers using their talents and creativity to design 'public domain' assistive technology with people with disabilities.
