Gina B. Carithers is an internationally recognized leader in healthcare marketing, communications, and business development. She has extensive experience building global brands and developing corporate strategies.

In 2022, Carithers was recruited to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) to serve as its Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. As the founder and CEO of Digital Science Press, Inc. (DSP) and its internet site, UroToday.com, which was acquired by the PCF, she grew Urotoday’s online community to serve 86,000 urologists, genitourinary oncologists, healthcare providers, and patients from 206 countries around the globe.

Carithers' extensive healthcare experience comes from her work in the biopharmaceuticals and life sciences sectors. She has served as an industry consultant shaping medical education programs for companies such as Indevus and Novartis. Earlier, Carithers served as an executive at DuPont Pharmaceuticals. Throughout her 20-year career there, she held several management positions, including the role of Executive Vice President of the global virology franchise. She holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
