Gino Zahnd          

President & Co-Founder of Cozy; Expert in User Experience (UX)

Gino Zahnd is the president and co-founder of Cozy, an online tool that allows renters and landlords to have a standardized process for applications, payments and communications. Cozy was acquired by CoStar Group in November 2018. Zahnd serves on the Forbes Real Estate Council, of which he is a founding member.

Zahnd was the head of user experience (UX) at Kosmix, where he led product design and the team for all aspects of the core Kosmix products. Kosmix was acquired by Wal-Mart for $300 million in April 2011. Kosmix has since been renamed Walmart Labs.

Zahnd was the UX lead at Flickr, which is owned by Yahoo. At Flickr, he worked with the team who took the product public just after acquisition to over 40m active members. Before beginning to work with Flickr, Zahnd led the design group for Yahoo! Travel, driving the overall design vision for products and managing external vendors and contractors.

Zahnd often speaks at conferences and schools about UX, startups and what it's like to be an entrepreneur.

Zahnd graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a bachelor's degree. During his time at UGA, Zahnd was involved with the weekly WUOG radio show and the daily News Source 15 show. He was also a writer for the school newspaper.
