Giuseppe Raviola is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, and Global Health and Social Medicine, at Harvard Medical School. His work focuses on improving the quality of clinical practice, teaching and research in psychiatry and global mental health.

Raviola has led several health initiatives. He was one of the leaders for Partners In Health mental health response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake, and he also led a program in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital that oversaw child and adolescent mental health care. In addition, he has overseen Partners In Health integration of health services in locations that lacked specialists.

He graduated from Dartmouth College and went on to study medicine and public health at Harvard University.
