Glenn Close is an American actress known for her roles in both film and theater. With a successful career spanning various genres and platforms, Close's early notable film roles include "Fatal Attraction" and "Dangerous Liaisons," and she also portrayed Cruella de Vil in "101 Dalmatians and its 2000 sequel, and voiced Kala in "Tarzan." She received three Oscar nominations for her roles in the dramas "Albert Nobbs," "The Wife," and "Hillbilly Elegy." In 2009, she received a motion picture star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2016, she was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame.
