A trained musician, he composes operas, and performs in his hometown of San Francisco including the Russian National Orchestra. Gordon Getty is an investor of San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom’s PlumpJack Group, and Gordon and his wife fund an invite-only preschool called, Playgroup, for children of high-profile status in Silicon Valley.
