A 32 year professional beauty industry veteran, Gordon Miller owes much of what is good his my life to the people who spend their lives working in and around professional salons and cosmetology schools. After graduating college, he moved to Denver and became a beauty school administrator. He immediately fell in love with the people in the industry and by 1982, he was the director of a chain of beauty schools in Utah.

In 1998, he became Executive Director of the National Cosmetology Association (NCA). Following 11 years with NCA, he left to join behindthechair.com, the world’s largest online community of salon pros.

He is the current CEO at Hairbrained, a community of hairdressers sharing their work and knowledge.
