Executive Director of Open Style Lab; Expert on Disability and Design

Grace Jun is social entrepreneur, designer and self-taught coder. Her work examines functional fashion for inclusion with the aim to anchor wearable tech to the human experience.

Jun is Executive Director at Open Style Lab (OSL). Open Style Lab is a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating innovative garment solutions for people with disabilities. She is an Adjunct Lecturer at Parsons School of Design (NY) and teaches undergraduate fashion students and a Collab course that continuously tests the OSL model.

As a designer, professor and social entrepreneur, Jun equips her community with best practices to challenge quality of life for aging and people with disabilities through creative making. From designing graphic interfaces for smartphones and wearables, to constructing accessible blazers for women with breast cancer, she has received nation-wide attention.

From the White House to ABC Channel News, Jun has been asked to speak about disability and design in numerous settings around the world. She has been fortunate to be supported by academic faculty, inspiring creatives, and a strong community from Open Style Lab.
